ASX 200 set for a soft open after a big tech selloff cut the Nasdaq 1.32%

The Nasdaq fell 1.32% overnight as the biggest US tech names sold off, while the Dow rose 0.29% and small caps gained on a move into value. With gold firm near US$4,210/oz and US yields rising before Friday's PCE print, the ASX 200 is set for a soft open, helped by its heavy bank and miner weighting.
