ASX 200 opens FY2027 into a semiconductor-led Wall Street rally

The ASX 200 starts FY2027 into a strong overnight US lead: the Nasdaq rose 1.52% and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index 3.92% on AI-infrastructure demand. KLAC.US (+8.38%) led chip-equipment names, while gold eased to US$4,026/oz and AUD/USD firmed to 0.6920. A hawkish Fed hold lifted the US 10-year to 4.42%.
