ASX 200 futures edge up 0.1% as Brent rises 1.15% and US chip stocks fall 2%

ASX 200 futures rose 0.1% to 8,812 by 8:20am AEDT on 13 October 2026, about 29 points above the 8,783.2 close. The S&P 500 slipped 0.06% to 7,807.24 as MU.US fell 3.88% and SMH.US 2.05%, while December Brent rose 1.15% to US$105.92 after attacks on Saudi energy sites. AUD/USD fell 0.37% to 0.6962, and the RBA releases its September minutes at 11:30am AEDT.
