ASX 200 futures fall 0.3% as Citigroup drops 5.60% before US CPI

ASX 200 futures fell 0.3% to 8,788 by 7:53am AEDT on 14 October 2026. The S&P 500 slipped 0.02% to 7,805.45 as C.US fell 5.60% and WFC.US 3.10% on third-quarter results and MU.US lost 3.62% after a CXMT memory announcement. BHP.US implies about a 0.75% fall for BHP.AU, AUD/USD rose 0.32% to 0.6984, and US September CPI lands at 23:30 AEDT.
