ASX 200 futures hold at 8,825 as Anthropic's IPO filing lifts US chips 2.82%; Brent eases 1.29%

ASX 200 futures slipped 2 points to 8,825 by 7:40am AEDT on 27 October 2026 after the Nasdaq rose 0.82% and the Philadelphia semiconductor index 2.82% on Anthropic's IPO filing. TSLA.US gained 5.21% on a Barclays upgrade and the iShares MSCI Brazil ETF fell 19.82% after Lula's re-election. December Brent eased 1.29% to US$115.22, gold rose 0.58% to US$4,031 and AUD/USD fell 0.27% to 0.7019, a day before Australia's September CPI.
