US Pre-Market: Futures Hold Thursday's Iran De-escalation Rally as SpaceX Debuts (12 June 2026)
S&P 500 futures sit +0.23% after the cash index closed +1.75% on Thursday, when Trump called off planned Iran strikes and signaled a deal was near. Small caps led (Russell 2000 +3.02%) and crude fell. SpaceX debuts today after a record $75 billion IPO, against a hot May PPI print and rising Fed-hike odds.

The S&P 500 rose 0.50% to 7,431.46 on 12 June 2026, a second straight gain as oil fell 3.9% on US-Iran de-escalation and the VIX dropped 9% to 17.68. SpaceX SPCX.US closed +19.22% at $160.95 on its record Nasdaq debut, while the rest of the space sector sold off (Virgin Galactic SPCE.US -31.76%) as capital rotated in. Materials and Financials led 9 of 11 higher sectors.
