US Pre-Market: Nasdaq Futures Jump 2% on Micron's Record Memory Quarter
Nasdaq 100 futures rose 2.03% before Thursday's US open after Micron posted a record 84.9% gross margin and guided fiscal Q4 revenue to $49 billion to $51 billion. Qualcomm added 11.7% on raised data center targets. Asia's memory makers led overnight, with KOSPI +5.42% and Nikkei +4.61%. Markets now await the May PCE inflation report at 8:30am ET.
US Close 25 June 2026: Dow Sets a Record as Apple and Microsoft Slide on Higher Memory Prices
US indexes finished 25 June in different directions. The Dow set an all-time high and the Russell 2000 rose 0.71%, while the Nasdaq fell 0.46% and the S&P 500 closed flat. Apple and Microsoft fell after each said it would raise hardware prices to cover higher memory costs, offsetting a 15.78% jump in Micron and a rally across the chipmakers.
