US stocks look to steady on Friday 24 July 2026 after Thursday's technology-led selloff dragged the S&P 500 down 1.21% and the Nasdaq 2.15%. S&P 500 futures are up 0.26% and Dow futures up 0.43% as crude eases 2.68% and the 10-year yield slips to 4.68%. Intel jumped 3.54% pre-market on a Q2 beat, while American Express fell 3.75% despite topping estimates, and new Section 301 tariffs of 10% to 12.5% took effect overnight.
