US Pre-Market, 17 September 2026: S&P 500 Futures 1.14% Higher as Jobless Claims Fall to 196,000 After the Fed Hike

S&P 500 futures were 1.14% higher and Nasdaq 100 futures 1.47% higher at 8:33am ET on 17 September 2026 as initial jobless claims fell 10,000 to 196,000 and the 10-year yield eased to about 4.96%, the morning after the Fed raised rates 25 bp. GNRC.US rose 29.28% pre-market after Amazon signed a backup generator supply agreement worth up to $8 billion, and WTI fell 2.97% to US$99.39.
