S&P 500 Falls 0.57% for the Week as Intel Erases a Chip Rally; Health Care +3.12%

The S&P 500 fell 0.57% to 7,580.07 in the week to 30 October 2026, its third weekly loss in a row, after INTC.US dropped 28.58% on Friday on a fourth-quarter forecast below estimates and GOOGL.US lost 12.61% for the week on negative free cash flow. The Nasdaq fell 2.00% while the Russell 2000 rose 1.29% and health care gained 3.12%. SGRY.US rose 47.37% on a takeover. The Fed held rates 10-2 and the 10-year yield fell 6 bps to 4.93%. Apple reports on 2 November and the jobs report lands on 6 November.
