ASX 200 ends week down 1.3% as CBA crashes 10%; miners rally on oil and copper

ASX 200 closed Friday at 8,631, down 1.3% on the week. CBA had its worst single session in 34 years (-10.4% Wednesday) on a soft Q3 update; CSL plunged 18% on FY26 guidance cut and a US$5bn Vifor impairment. Miners and energy rallied as Brent jumped 7.9% to US$109 and copper held multi-month highs. Friday's US session shed 1.2% on inflation fears.
