ASX 200 set to open 39 points higher as the US 10-year backs off a two-year high

SPI futures point to a 39 point (0.45%) higher ASX 200 open. The S&P 500 rose 0.46% to 7,666.60 after the US 10-year Treasury yield touched 4.818%, its highest since November 2023, then eased to 4.78%, ending a three-session slide. Australia's own 10-year set a 15-year high of 5.223% on Wednesday after June quarter GDP beat, and BHP.AU, WDS.AU, COL.AU, RHC.AU and AMC.AU trade ex-dividend today. Iron ore held under US$100 at US$97.72/t.
