Dow futures sat 0.04% lower and Russell 2000 futures 0.03% lower, leaving the gain with companies tied to AI compute. Initial jobless claims printed 203,000 against a 208,000 consensus.

NVDA.US +8.74% was worth roughly 57 of the 72 basis point move after $96.2 billion of fiscal Q2 revenue, and enterprise software added about 45 more as CRM.US rose 22.58%, OKTA.US 28.63% and CRWD.US 20.50%. Breadth ran 82 advancers to 167 decliners across the 250 largest US listings, and the equal-weight S&P 500 fell 0.30%.
