US pre-market 10 August 2026: futures flat before Wednesday CPI as chip equipment names extend Friday's rally

S&P 500 futures trade at 7,775.25, down 0.06%, holding Friday's cash close of 7,757.64 as Wednesday's July CPI print keeps positioning tight. MNDY.US is the sharpest pre-market move at 9.59% lower, after second quarter revenue of $364.6 million beat consensus and third quarter guidance of $368 million to $370 million landed under the $372.85 million street estimate. Friday's payrolls report, which showed the US economy shedding 23,000 jobs against a forecast of 83,000 gains, drove gold 2.33% higher and left the dollar index at 99.75.

Chip equipment and memory
MU.US -1.43%, STX.US -1.67%, WDC.US -1.53% and SKHY.US -2.16% all trade lower into the open, while ASML.US, AMAT.US, KLAC.US and LRCX.US rise between 2.09% and 2.89%. Friday carried the same split: STX.US fell 4.71% and SKHY.US 3.92%, against COHR.US up 13.44% and LITE.US up 6.22%.
